Being consistent with your training

How many times have you gone all out for a ‘fad’, only to burn out and then decide you’re over it? Well, this happens when you give in to the lack of momentum during your ‘lull’ periods, or perhaps when you lose focus along the way. One thing’s for sure though – it is important to genuinely enjoy what you do, so you’ll be passionate about it and stick to it for the long run.

It’s no different when it comes to training martial arts. Apart from having fun on the mats, it’s also crucial to be consistent and stay dedicated – even when things get tough. You could be the strongest, biggest, or most talented fighter but without regular training and drilling, you’d lose out to your more consistent counterparts. After all, you reap what you sow. And if you notice, the one thing that all successful athletes have in common is that of consistent training over the years.

Are you ready to commit to your training?

Here's 5 Reasons Why Consistency Is So Important In Martial Arts:

  1.  Because it will build up your fitness

  2.  Because you’ll make steady progress

  3. Because you’ll understand techniques much better

  4. Because it improves your mental and emotional health

  5. Because it’s the best way to achieve success
